Little Story

Keg is a franchised Pub & Restaurant brand and was a pioneer of the modern English pub experience in Zambia.
Derryck Myers, together with his then-partner, Rob Mitchell, opened the first Keg in Florida Road, Durban, in August 1990 – the legendary Keg & Thistle. The Kegs soon became renowned for homemade pies like the Footlong Pecker and Dixie, baskets of snacks like the Munchies Basket as well as the wide variety of beers, both local and international, which until then, were not widely available.
